I Have RM50 — What Can I Do in KL This Weekend?

EventsToday.my team · Updated 10 Sept 2026

RM50 in KL this weekend: Keretapi Sarong, a pasar malam, Harry Potter at Pavilion DH. Arena concerts will blow the budget. Sourced, not a fake free list.

RM50 in Kuala Lumpur this weekend (12–13 September 2026) is a train ticket, a night market plate, and a mall walk. It is not Aaron Kwok, ANISAMA or SUPER JUNIOR-83z. Those starts at RM288 and up on the listings we sourced.

Last checked 10 September 2026.

The RM50 Saturday–Sunday

1. Sunday — [Keretapi Sarong](/event/keretapi-sarong-2026). Ordinary KTM fare (often well under RM50 even return on short Klang Valley hops) plus a sarong you already own. 2. Afternoon — [Harry Potter at Pavilion Damansara Heights](/event/harry-potter-25-years-kl-2026). No published entry fee. MRT to Pusat Bandar Damansara, not Bukit Bintang. Until 20 Sep, 10am–10pm. 3. Night — a [pasar malam](/blog/pasar-malam-kl). Food is the spend. Stay in one Taman.

If you blow RM18 on a nasi lemak and RM12 on a drink, you are still inside fifty. Grab across the city is how the budget dies.

Free filter

Free events in KL and free things to do in KL. We only mark free when a source said so.

Who this is for

Students, families after payday week, anyone who typed “I have 50rm what can I do” into our search box. The search still works on the homepage.

Common questions

Can I stand outside Unifi Arena for free? You can stand in Bukit Jalil. You will not hear the mix. Spend the fifty on the train and food instead.
